Please note this happens best between the months of April and September. Beams of light are visible on clear, sunny days. If you happen to be here on a cloudy day we will not accept cancellations, as we do not control the weather. With this said it’s usually followed by the question, “Does it make sense for me to go at a different time?” or “Will it be worth it?” My answer to you: Yes, the canyon is forever beautiful, and all tour times have something great to offer with great photo opportunities. Even the sunniest of days will only produce light beams at the Canyon at certain times of day. The sun is at its peak between 11 am and 1:30 pm, so this is the time range to aim for if you want to see the lights. We offer guided tours during this timeframe. You can book a tour in advance to ensure that you do not miss your window of opportunity to see this unique display of light. But trust us, all tour times are Beautiful, without a doubt.
