This exclusive tour includes access to a private Navajo viewpoint of Horseshoe Bend, just beyond the crowded National Park Service area. Travel in comfort in our tour vehicles designed for a more intimate experience with a maximum of 15 guest. You'll be captivated by 360-degree views of the breathtaking Southwest wilderness, with minimal walking required.

Itinerary

  • Boarding: Your adventure begins at the scheduled departure time, where you'll board our comfortable vehicle for a scenic ride to the canyon parking area.
  • Canyon Walk: Upon arrival, we’ll take a short 10-15 minute walk
    (approximately 1,000 feet) through soft, sandy terrain to the canyon entrance. The walk into the canyon covers a total of 0.5 miles round trip. Along the way, your guide will provide fascinating insights about the area and assist with photo opportunities.
  • Exploring the Canyon: As we move through the canyon, the changing position of the sun will dramatically alter the lighting, creating an entirely new visual experience. This offers a second chance for unique photographs as we backtrack to the canyon entrance.
  • Return Walk: After exploring the canyon, we’ll retrace our steps along the 1,000-foot nature trail back to the parking area.
  • Horseshoe Bend Overlook: Next, we embark on a 20-minute scenic drive to the iconic Horseshoe Bend Overlook. From the parking area, it’s a short 200-foot walk down sturdy metal staircases to the breathtaking viewpoint.
  • Return to Office: After enjoying the overlook, we will take a short 10-minute drive back to our office, where guests can return to their vehicles.

      Please note

        You can only make cancellation more than 5 days before depature. There will be a non-refundable booking fee which is 6% of order total amount per booking.

        What NOT To Bring:

        • Children under the age of 6
        • Pets of any kind
        • Drones (per Navajo Nation regulations)
        • Alcoholic beverages
        • Weapons or utility tools of any kind
        • Glass Containers

        Important:

        • Please check in at least 30 minutes prior to your scheduled departure time. There is no need to bring any physical documents. Simply provide the name under which the booking was made.
        • Tour departures will NOT be delayed for guests arriving late.
        • We operate on Arizona Time which is the same timezone as Flagstaff, Sedona, Phoenix and the Grand Canyon.
        • Tour includes bumpy "off road" travel and is not recommended for pregnant women or those with recent/chronic back or neck issues.
        • Refunds will not be issued for being late and “no-shows”.
        • While we do not have restrooms with running water on-site, we do provide clean and well-maintained portable restrooms for your convenience.
        What to bring
          • Winter months - warm coat, hat, gloves, scarf (lap blanket optional)
          • Summer months - brimmed hat, sunscreen and sunglasses
          • Water bottle
          • Comfortable shoes to walk up to 1 mile in sandy terrain
