Itinerary

  • Boarding: Your adventure begins at the scheduled departure time, where you'll board our comfortable vehicle for a scenic ride to the canyon parking area.
  • Canyon Walk: Upon arrival, we’ll take a short 10-15 minute walk
(approximately 1,000 feet) through soft, sandy terrain to the canyon entrance. The walk into the canyon covers a total of 0.5 miles round trip. Along the way, your guide will provide fascinating insights about the area and assist with photo opportunities.
  • Exploring the Canyon: As we move through the canyon, the changing position of the sun will dramatically alter the lighting, creating an entirely new visual experience. This offers a second chance for unique photographs as we backtrack to the canyon entrance.
  • Return Walk: After exploring the canyon, we’ll retrace our steps along the 1,000-foot nature trail back to the parking area.
  • Horseshoe Bend Overlook: Next, we embark on a 20-minute scenic drive to the iconic Horseshoe Bend Overlook. From the parking area, it’s a short 200-foot walk down sturdy metal staircases to the breathtaking viewpoint.
  • Return to Office: After enjoying the overlook, we will take a short 10-minute drive back to our office, where guests can return to their vehicles.
